Just watched the first episode. I don't know anything about the fellow so was taken aback at the way he presented himself in the first episode, as an ambitious, intelligent, articulate and reasonable man. What the f*** went wrong, brah? Or it was there all along, just brilliantly disguised. I ain't gonna spoil anything for anyone, only to comment that the idea/plan that Michaud (the recordist) came up with to finally get Bundy to talk about the killings, and not reminisce on his school days/first girlfriend/politics etc, was simple but quite clever. I expect the three remaining episodes to be very much darker.
