Just watched the first episode. I don't know anything about the fellow so was taken aback at the way he presented himself in the first episode, as an ambitious, intelligent, articulate and reasonable man. What the f*** went wrong, brah? Or it was there all along, just brilliantly disguised. I ain't gonna spoil anything for anyone, only to comment that the idea/plan that Michaud (the recordist) came up with to finally get Bundy to talk about the killings, and not reminisce on his school days/first girlfriend/politics etc, was simple but quite clever. I expect the three remaining episodes to be very much darker. Sociopaths are very good at blending in. They are very good at acting like "normal" people. John Wayne Gacy was also a normal acting and very friendly guy, that raped and murdered countless teenage boys and buried them under the floorboards of his house. This is what makes them so dangerous. Most people are good at hiding the bad sides of themselves, it's just that most people's bad side isn't nearly as deranged as Ted Bundy's.
