Apart from the odd, accidental celeb close encounter at venues and in public, I Did quite a bit of film extra work a few years back so inside and outside studio have seen varying levels of approachability, aloofness, invisibility, normality etc. Not saying it's a true reflection of their general character, but this was what I recall was their demeanour to 'extras' and the public.
Friendly, Normal, chatty: Paul Kaye, Andy Serkis, Amanda Burton, Adam Fogerty, Chris Claremont, Ralph Brown Wolf Kahler, Jerry Hall, Dave Gibbons, Bobby Womack, Stan Lee, Howard Chaykin, Warren Mitchell, Vas Blackwood, Buster Bloodvessel, Paul Mccartney
A little Bit Precious Frank Finlay, Leo Sayer, Alison King
A bit Grumpy to Grumpy Murray Walker, David Bellamy, Alan Moore, Bill Sienkiewicz, Pauline Black, David Hemmings.
Rude, Obnoxious, Loutish, Aloof. Vinnie Jones on many occasions over the years. [local chap]
My middle daughter said that Paul Whitehouse, Peter Capaldi and Hugh Laurie are really nice.
