Marvel Planning Wolverine TV Show For Disney Plus, Won’t Star Hugh Jackman

Honestly that’s probably why they’re considering a TV show. Jackman’s Wolverine is iconic. People are probably more likely to accept a new TV version of him over a huge blockbuster with either a huge name that nobody will think is right for the part, or a no name that nobody will think is good enough for the part. Jackman owns the role the same way RDJ owns Iron Man. It’s going to be next to impossible to introduce a brand new and accepted version of the character. They will be able to test the X-Men MCU waters more openly, and less expensively, on their streaming service.
