If these were his actual words - I'd be fearful he just walks after the year and they don't get anything for him.
From my understanding - They can make a play for AD before Thursday - but in turn have to trade Kyrie; however if they wait until after July 1st - can sign AD and have both AD and Kyrie on the same team.
I'd deal him.
My fears with the Celts (still think they may come out of the East) - is with the addition of Hayward and Kyrie - it messed with the chemistry they had last year.
It's been over the news and gaining steam he has no interest with re-signing with Boston and AD has no interest going there.
I'd swap him before the deadline. A team's fear is he may just be a rental and what would you give up.
I think he ends up a Knick .....
