on a sad note - my biggest fear about St. John's came true - they were undefeated prior to conference play and are 4-5 in the conference.
a very 'down' year for the Big East - they were riding so high before conference wars started - but conference play has evened the slate.
was hoping for at least 5 teams to make the tourney
right now it's looking like 'Nova and Marquette and the Johnnies are 16-5.
Hoyas have 7 losses right now and Seton Hall and Providence 8.
Butler, Xaiver and Creighton - off year ...
but who knows - maybe one of them surprises Championship Week and makes the dance.
I think St. John’s will win the big east tourney, actually. Good hunch! 🤠
