Id like to see more dramas akin to A man for All Seasons and Becket gain popularity again

no explosions ? no super heroes ? no gratuitous gore and sex … won't sell... if it won't sell tickets they won't make it.

Historical Dramas won't sell because a knowledge and interest in history seems to be evading the "average movie goer".

Maybe the interest will come back, but I seriously doubt it.
