I'm not into the universal DH at all though. I've been watching Giants baseball for many years, and I've come to appreciate and love the NL brand of baseball, plus I've always like the uniqueness of each League doing it differently.

The herd mentality says that universal DH is something that's gonna happen no matter what, so I'll have to live with it. Can't imagine it happening this year, though.

I dunno about herd mentality, but it is an inevitability. Once Corey Kluber (or someone of his caliber) gets hurt while trying to swing a bat, you'll see these efforts increase dramatically from the players union. Sad but true.

I'm fine with the AL keeping it (not that it was ever in doubt) as I grew up with it like that and I also like that both leagues do it differently.
