They can look rather trashy depending on the tat/person/body frame.

I.E. somebody with a Bugs Bunny tat or Elmer Fudd tat - to each their own - I don't judge - but stop and ask myself - 'What in God's name is this person thinking' - but like you I never say anything - and then I proceed to mind my own business and remind myself not to judge others and then go about my business.
