I've recently found this one youtuber, her channel is called After Show Reactions - you should check her out. She's an Aussie, for starters, but she started her channel doing episode reactions to Buffy, as she was watching the episodes for the very first time; and she's just so freaking adorable; and it's really delightful seeing her reactions to certain developments in the show, while at the same time she's proven very observant and perceptive. It's about as close to feeling like you're watching everything for the first time again. When she got to the point Angel spun-off she branched off and started watching those episodes as well; other fans gave her a viewing order to make sure she watched things in the right order. She's subsequently added other shows, like all of the Arrowverse shows and AoS, but I haven't gotten around to watching those reaction videos yet. She hasn't quite finished Buffy, she started sometime in 2017, I believe, and she's just now in season 7 of Buffy; and pretty early on Flash and Arrow. She has a Discord chat room that I've started visiting, that has occasional discussions on some of the shows she's watching. They have different sections too, one for each show where spoilers can be discussed freely and another for each show with no spoilers, you can only talk about details related to the show up to the point she's watched, so as not to spoiler her reactions.
They're pretty welcoming, though not many of them cared for my idea that it should have been
Xander who died instead of Tara; with Xander coming back in season 7 as the First
. As to your other post about Cordelia, it's such abstract question, it's impossible to really say. I mean, would they have even ended up working at Wolfram and Hart if season 4 had been written any different or was that always the plan? I had recently thought it might have been interesting if, in some alternate reality, Wolfram and Hart had recruited Cordelia out of high school and she had become one of their lawyers; so I could conceivably see her in that role, but even more died in the wool than Gunn was. She'd have been more like Lilah. I'm not sure where that might have left Gunn though.
She could have also been in on the entertainment division, which again, edges out Lorn.
I think, for the time it was being made, American TV program was much more static and it would have been virtually unheard of to postpone production or delay airing a season.
I can only hope that any alternative scenario of the series playing out with Charisma staying would have nixed any romantic relationship with Angel and Cordelia, but it seems unlikely they would have built it up as ham fisted as they did in season 3 and go absolutely nowhere with it, unless circumstances force them to, like they did in season 4.
I think Lindsey's beef was that after everything he gave to Wolfram and Hart and barely made it to where he was when he left, Angel of all people is just handed the keys to the whole operation. But I think his animosity was directed less at Angel than at the Senior Partners and whomever else was in on that decision; even if it was more a ploy to try and corrupt Angel and his crew.
