They were inside the Washington Monument. There was no exit he could take without Capitol Police guarding the exit. So he would've had to beat up the Capitol Police in order to get out. My question is how many police officers did Spider-Man beat up to get himself and Ned out of the Washington Monument without being detained for questioning by the Capitol Police.

It's not mentioned because MCU Dictator Kevin Feige was too dumb to think about it. Someone brings an explosive device into the Washington Monument and destroys the elevator, yet the Capitol Police don't even detain him for questioning? That's just awful writing!

Spider-Man has the speed, strength, agility & thanks to his suit directions and schematics to help him evade the police, he got into the fucking building without laying a hand on the police so he can likely get out of it without laying a hand othem also you dunce, also he can web people up which isn't beating them up, moron.

So what if they have cameras, do they have 360 degree full hi-def multi angle coverage? whose to say what other effects the device going off may have caused, maybe it fucked with the camera's and the footage was lost, or maybe the camera's didn't clearly see it go off in Ned's bag, or maybe even if they do have footage they will see Ned taken utterly by surprise with genuine fear and panic in his face when the thing goes off making it clear and obvious he had nothing to do with a planned attack and he could there by lie and say he just found the damn thing.

Just for fuck sake dude shut the fuck up, oh and here is a thought, maybe Spidey hacked the network and erased the footage himself to bail Ned out, maybe the AI did, hell maybe Tony did it because he was looking out for Peter still who knows, but there are lots of explinations as to how it could go down, but none of them factor into the actual plot of the movie because them getting detained and questioned doesn't matter, that's not bad writing, directing or producing that's just common fucking sense, like how we know these character have to poop but do we see them doing so? no because it's needless, in Aquaman did Arthur & Mera or Vulko have a long talk about just how the Atlanteans go to the toilet underwater and why there aren't human turds floating all around Atlantis? I fucking doubt it, even though that would make more sense in that film than seeing Peter taking a dump in Homecoming, but it doesn't have anything to do with the actual story or side story they want to tell so they don't include it.
