Is it just me or is a better message/attitude to have for her to say she'll do a few extra hours of sitting on her butt answering questions so long as in that time the people she sits down with are women, people of colour or people with disabilities, rather than her dictating a % of the press simply be that way? Just I find this sort of grandstanding cheap, what am I supposed to applaud that she made demands/request that other people have to actually put the work and effort into sorting out whilst she does no extra work herself? I mean if she were to do that no one losses the chance to interview her or do their job, she's actually creating more chances for people rather than changing who gets the chance, which will probably be seen as a bigger positive and potentially cause less pushback or resentment, same goal gets reached just she has to actually put herself out instead of others imo. I’d suggest that she’s just virtue signalling.
