If you are looking for someone else's thread, look up to the blue line of choices at the top of the screen. From left to right they go: Home Help Search,,, Click search and enter keyword terms. Voila! This feature actually works! This is interesting too. For example, If you want to see all of the Garth Games posted from February 2017 to present (as well as the responses to those threads) all one has to do is look down the line to find a mattgarth id and click it. It says all recent threads, but goes why back to the date that this board became active. It's important to distinguish between recent posts and recent threads.
Threads tell you what threads were started (ie, OPed). Posts tell you what posts were posted (from most recent to least recent)...quite a difference. This is interesting in that it even covers other Boards (not just the classic film Borad). That is, it covers, games and triva, politics, etc. For example, I have often enjoyed, BATouttaheck threads about images (for example, Find me a ___ in a screenshot) or spiderwort's threads about movies related to a certain concept, etc. (for example, Films about friendships).
Does this mean that once a thread or post is created by someone, it will last forever, even if the creator would like to get ride of it? No. Why? Because, the creator can go back and delete something he or she wishes he or she had never created in the first place. These are good tools. And they can always be deleted by the post or thread "owner poster" himself. So, they are, as it were, protected by the "owner" of the post or thread...and ONLY the post or thread "owner." No one else. For example, *I* can NOT delete someone else's post or thread; they, themselves are the only people allowed to do that.
