PS: I'm a fan of Emily Blunt, and wouldn't have minded seeing her in the role. She wouldn't have been my top pick, nor was the actress who did get the role.

It's based on the tracking reports that came out prior to the big media push and subsecuent backlash over some of her comments/attitude and the drop in the most recent tracking reports, some places were tracking CM as opening up to $180m opening weekend in the North America, 2 weeks ago and some places are tracking it as low as $100m this week, the theory is her attitude turned 45% of the audience off of the movie.

daft as a fucking brush idea but some will have em, personanly I don't think it matters much who plays the character.

I personally haven't watched any interviews with her, so .... what attitude? All I've seen was a quick behind the scenes thing with her on the set of KONG: SKULL ISLAND and I think I may have read an interview or two of hers from ROOM, but honestly, I had no idea who she was before she was cast as Carol Danvers, so I don't know anything about her. What did she do that so ticked people off, and they are blaming for the drop in estimated pre-sales numbers?
