Because Feige doesn't want women making MCU movies. All that talk about MCU hiring more women directors and writers is just PR fluff for the media. Heck, Feige wouldn't even allow a women director to direct Captain Marvel on her own. Feige appointed a male director to be in charge and direct Captain Marvel while having a woman "co-director" parade in front of the media so that he can get positive PR for that. Captain Marvel has a female director. Captain Marvel has a female "co-director" who reports to and takes orders from a male director. MCU Dictator Kevin Feige doesn't like having women in charge, which is why all of the women in Black Panther are subservient to a male King and none of the women were allowed to challenge for the throne of Wakanda. |
