His stats are not remotely Hall worthy. This is another case of a current popular guy who is great that everyone thinks is going to the hall just like they did for Mattingly but Posey's stats right now are not going to get him into the hall, especially if he moves to first. He just becomes Ted Simmons for this generation. And you're talking to a die hard Giants fan who named a dog after Buster. I want him in the hall but he's got a long long ways to go before he's in. Everyone said Jeff Kent was going to be a first balloter and he should be in now and he barely gets votes. is posey moving to 1st base this year? Possibly not this year but soon, they've been talking about it for a while and they ahve a big catching prospect coming up they love. He will not be a catcher more than a couple years at best and he will not have hall stats if he only catches 2 more years. |
