Ha! Ha! That's really cute, Toasted Cheese. Yes, kitties are nice, too. But I like doggies better. Some people say they don't like yippy dogs. Okay, fair enough. Don't have a problem with that. My feline version of that is I cannot deal with high strung cats that are waiting for you to turn the corner so they can pounce on you and dig their claws in and bite you on the neck. So, I guess I prefer the Garfield type cat, chubby and lazy and given to sleeping 20 hours per day. One cool thing: my parents' 2 kitty cats both passed away in the last two years and knowing that they were both pretty lonely for animal companionship, I found them a place that breeds chocolate short hairs (which my mom said she always wanted) and I pushed and pushed for them to get a kitten and I found a breeder and I pushed at them and hounded them and practically begged for them to get a cat, this went on for months and as of last fall, they have been enjoying a little chocolate brown kitty cat, who is sweet and friendly and a little on the small side, with only a modicum of the exasperating kitten energy and he is cute as a button. Best of all, that house has so much more life in it, and both M&D could not be happier. Yay! Lovely! Animals bring with them an energy that some people need. It is also a care and responsibility for them, which can distract from other worrying issues about themselves.
What is his name? I love cats, but really don't want anymore animals in my life at present. It is a responsibility that does impinge on certain freedoms as well.
Yeah, it made me happy. My mom named him Hershey. He is as brown as they come. Super cute.
