I just typed "Brie Larson news", and I got her Twitter, a couple articles about the new movie, something about one of her older movies (I think one she did as a teen?), and then something about a future movie on her schedule getting pushed back due to her having to take some time for reshoots on CAPTAIN MARVEL. *Shrug* From what reading I've done on the above comments, it sounds like she's just too political for most and grates due to how she presents rather than what she presents. I think at this point, I've gotten so accustomed to people spouting their ideology without having enough polish to it to make it sound good, that it doesn't make a dent anymore. Heck, one of my closest friends is a guy who has a lot of good beliefs, but he has a very bad habit of sounding super arrogant and very much a Know It All when he tries to explain it. Yeah seems to be mostly this, some people just have that way about them, some can insult your family, mock your hair and threaten to physically assault you and you come away from it thinking my god what a charming person, others can compliment your fashion sense and leave you feeling like 10 lbs of shit in a 5lb sack and that they may have murdered someone.
She aint no Gal Gadot that's for sure, that woman has ALL the charm.
Gal Gadot really does have all the class, and charm. Yeah, know what you mean. I'm related to one of those people who can insult you and everything you like/believe in, and yet most people come away thinking he's a charming bastard who they can't wait to meet again for drinks or something. I kind of prefer the crass, unpolished folks who can't say anything right. But that may be bias of spending most of my life around insincere, a-hole charmers. *shrug* I'm not digging Brie Larson, I could have named 10 actresses who'd have a great Carol Danvers, but at the end of the day, she was the one who got picked so we just gotta see how she does and live with Disney's choice.
