Black Widow movie brings in new writer for rewrites.

I can't tell if this is real or not. I'd prefer to not be opposed but it's kind of late for a Black Widow movie, isn't it? Everyone who's had an origin story since phase 1 wasn't in phase 1. Not saying they can't do an origin piece on her, but she got bits and pieces of one in Age of Ultron.

Unlike BP who got an entire introduction arc in a movie before his own movie, I would think she's been in too many movies to be introduced now.

What does she do? At what phase of her life does this occur? Pre-Avengers? Pre-Budapest? Maybe it could be like the alleged solo Batman movie coming up, a self-contained mystery that's a little more military/spy based than Noir.
