It's not hypocritical because WB didn't make a public announcement that they're going to hire female writers for the movie. MCU Dictator Kevin Feige made a public announcement that MCU would hire more female directors and more female writers and then turns around and hires a male writer to re-write the script for Black Widow. That's hypocritical and shows that Feige had no intention of hiring more female directors and more female writers and only made that public announcement for PR fluff. But Wonder Woman doesn't have a female writer either. DCEU Dictator Walter Hamada has no intentions of having female writers either. Yeah it's unfortunate. I don't know why Warner Bros couldn't hire a woman to write the script. |
