So he is taking out a rival cab company and it has nothing to do with protection money? That's how it went down in real life. Though the larger point in the film is that Hill has completely committed to the mob and fallen into a life of crime. So the particulars aren't that important. OK thanx. There were parts in that montage that were obvious without narration, like stealing and reselling the cigarettes, and other things he describes. Since blowing up the taxis was not that obvious, it would have been helpful if he had narrated it. To me, that is important. It shows how mean and tough these guys are and the extremes they would go to.
