Anyone ever actually gone treasure-hunting? Do we have any Indys or Tintins in our midst?
I once went hunting for Captain Kidd’s treasure while I was out in Montauk, NY, years back; we know for a fact (because it was later dug up by the British) that Kidd buried treasure on nearby Gardiner’s Island, but there was an old book I read that claimed there was treasure buried on mainland Long Island. A friend and I went hunting, just for fun, but of course we didn’t find anything. I’d love to go back and explore some more.
