That's too bad. You're right the show isn't the best now but I am certain the history and bringing in older characters and references to past stories is all Sheri. She will be missed - again! It's a shame, but I also sort of get it. She was apparently brought in as a creative consultant to help Ron Carlivati get up to speed on the show and the characters and the history. But, once she's done that, it could sort of be an albatross around the neck of a head writer to have a legendary head writer from the '80s and '90s hanging around. Ultimately, I do think it behooves the genre to have newer, younger voices writing and not the same people who were writing it before I was born.
