moviemouth Everyone does that as it really goes without saying as what you just said there is something I tend to preach quite often when certain topics turn up. p.s. but ill say it again... how much someone likes a movie pretty much boils down to some sort of emotional response/feeling it gives the viewer and the more it does that in a positive way the higher the score and the less the lower the score (but at least for me... there are not that many movies that stand out to a higher degree as it pretty much boils down to 181 movies I score a 7 or higher). rating movies any other way pretty much makes no sense if you ask me because it's more of a lie where as rating this way is a true measure of what a viewer truly thinks of a movie.
But it's more accurate so it can't be worse than what you do, only better since it's more accurate.
I don't care so much about accuracy. I didn't say it was better or worse, I just don't like it. When I don't like something I tend to block it out. My sanity (or what's left of it anyway) depends on it. There is a big difference between an emotional response and a PROFOUND emotional reaction. This might help you better understand me. I am a cynic, a nihilist and I am borderline misanthropic. We are basically like night and day personality wise.
