What happened in the West Indies ? England keeps making Hosko look like a genius, and Bob and AJ mugs. I don’t care how dubious a surface may be (I didn’t see it), but all out for 110 odd and then Gayle biffs a 29 ball 77 - sounds like a collective batting failure. England do this in the WC, and it could be good night nurse. Agar - he’s a really talented player Hitchcock. Genuinely. My gripe is that he should be playing India in a green and gold jersey right now, not signing for Warwickshire. He has the talent to be an Australian regular in all 3 formats, and he probably should be. Aus v Ind - stock standard ODI game. Australia will obviously be better at the WC with Smith, Warner, Starc and Hazlewood to come back in. NZ v Bang - 200 run partnership between Mahmudallah and Sarkar for the 5th wicket. No I’ve not heard of them either..... I do certainly believe Hosko is a genius when it comes to giving right explanations but I am positively certain that Gayle will disappoint in the WC much like Ross Taylor (discounting meaningless innings in matches that somebody else already wins). I wouldn't be too overly concerned with the results of England in the ODI format if I were hitchcockthelegend because this England team is tired and gassed and playing out of the home. Their minds are not in it anymore. They are waiting to be home and looking ahead at the big stage. * Yes, I surely would be concerned about England's Test side and what they might do in the future.
