As much as I've enjoyed a lot of the movies he's directed, two of my all-time favorite Woody Allen movies happen to be from the 70's, and have both been directed by others: Play It Again, Sam (1972) - Directed by Herbert Ross (based on the play written by Woody Allen) (Probably as funny, or funnier than any of the films directed by Allen himself, and my personal favorite of ALL the films he's been associated with...) The Front (1976) - Directed by Martin Ritt (Though not a comedy, not without humorous moments, and IMMENSELY interesting.....) SAVE FERRIS
