Tomb raider- turned I off the original, not seen the remake

The BFG- I turned it offat 25 mins in my first go as well but was actually impressed by how well they balanced the giant's child-like behavior and experience as an old man. I think it sends a great message to kids who are bullied but are still determined to remain true to themselves. It's lacking in funny bits but was certainly not a bore.
