You have to compare like with like. It's no good trying to compare a 6.9 MCU movie with a general movie where zero members of the press are incentivised to give it a positive score. Having checked a few MCU ratings, I can several of them were in the 6.2 range - IM2, TiH and TtDW. Those movies were pretty bad. 6.9 isn't a world away from that.  A- 9/10 B-7/8 C-5/6 D-3/4 F-1/2 So 6.9 is C+/very close to B- I'm a bit confused. First of all, I'm not sure where you got all of those fractions from. And secondly, 6.9 is somewhere between a D and an F on that scale.
