I also noticed a continuity goof. In The Winter Soldier, a photograph of Fury being sworn in as director of SHIELD has him with two functioning eyes. Clearly, it's been retconned that he was scarred before he became director. Or he used the glass eyes for a while before deciding he liked the patch better.
