I found Barry Lyndon really absorbing. I had seen it before, ages ago, I remembered loving it, but not much else. Yes, it's more than 3 hours long but it didn't seem too long to me. But I can see that people might find it hard to get into. I also loved the cynical satire vibe it has. And the final duel scene, it really blew me away. But, I did like The Duelists. Keith Carradine was great in it. The length isn’t an issue most of the films in my top 20 are around 3 hours but the pacing and the tone were not for me Yeah, not an issue for me either. It depends on the film.
