I think the only great storyline 'Arrow' did was the Deathstroke storyline in Season 2 and I liked how they added a history between Oliver and Slade on the island that they didn't have in the comic books but Warner Bros ruined things with Deathstroke when they blocked them from using the character just when they brought him back. I think they should have kept Shado alive too and had her return later. Shado still being alive would have been a good twist after everything that happened between Oliver and Slade and they could have made her the Lady Shiva of the Arrowverse. 
Yeah I liked Shado also, they could have still used the actress as Shiva I guess just make it her sister, but they could have used Shado still like after he kills her have Ivo take her body for some experiment or something, then when they take the ship have Oliver & Slade want to know what he did with her body, Ivo either refuses to talk or says something that pisses off one of them, then Salde when he is in control of the boat learns Ivo found something and had her body picked up and taken somewhere, which could have been used to explain where he went after the island, he spent the next year or two trying to find her, which he ultimately cannot do, or is tricked into thinking he had but it's a near unrecognisable corpse, after which is when he goes back to his son, until the events of S1 lead him to come for Oliver, this way we could still get Shado but no they had to waste a good character.
God the amount of wasted characters these shows have ran through is astonishing.
Oh, I agree with you. They have wasted a LOT of characters in the 'Arrowverse' that could have been entertaining to see in other seasons if they hadn't wasted them by killing them off early or wrote them off and pretended like they never existed and with characters like Deadshot, Deathstroke, Katana and Amanda Waller it couldn't be helped since it was Warner Bros who stopped the writers from using them again and it looks like King Shark is going to be the latest character off limits now they have revealed he is going to be in 'Suicide Squad 2' which is kinda unfair since the 'Arrowverse' were using him first and I am not saying they were doing a great job but it must be frustrating for writers to just have characters stolen away from them like that especially if they have bigger plans for them which I believe Marc did with Deathstroke. Shado or her Sister could have been good additions to some of the later seasons and there was no excuse why they just wrote off Ragman and the Huntress and now we know the Huntress is returning I am hoping they bring back Ragman for another episode before the show ends. With 'Arrow' coming to an end they have a chance to bring back a few characters that haven't been seen for a while and with 'Gotham' gone maybe they could actually use Solomon Grundy this time and have him as one of the villains for the final season tying back to Season 2.
I am interested in seeing who they end up using as the main villain for the final season and I think it might be Onomatopoeia or the Riddler. Are there any characters you would like to see 'Arrow' bring back for the final season and how do you see the show ending before the crossover since there will most likely be some other big event that takes up the rest of the season.
