Very true advice. I also saw it in 3D and have the same feedback.
In fact I was dangerously close to the front. I didn't know the one of six theaters showing the movie would be so fucking packed on a Tuesday night. But watching with 3D glasses that close legit made me feel like I was watching the movie inside of a virtual reality helmet.
