Why have they got to be best buddies? Fury is the director of Shield. Strange would know that. Dr. Strange doesn't need a cellphone because he is Dr Strange.

Fury is no longer the director of SHIELD. Hasn't been the director of SHIELD for some time. And why would Dr. Strange need to call SHIELD anyway? He doesn't report to SHIELD. Also, please show how Dr. Strange makes interstellar phone calls.

Also, do you now agree that Fury getting updates on the Wakandan battle would not have been enough for him to press the emergency pager?
