Marvel boss Kevin Feige responds to glaring plot hole in ‘Captain Marvel’

In an interview with SlashFilm, Feige was asked why Nick Fury didn’t page Captain Marvel during the events of the 2012 Avengers movie when a wormhole opened over Earth and began an alien assault.
Feige offered two explanations: “Well, I’d say two things. One, she does say it’s gotta be a real emergency, right? The other thing I’d say is how do you know he never hit it? How do we know he never pushed it before? We’ve never seen him push it before. That doesn’t mean he never did.”
Feige is full of shit. It's a plothole, plain and simple.
