An wormhole opening over New York and aliens invading Manhattan and killing hundreds of civilians while the Avengers just stood there doing nothing for half an hour and Loki had already killed Fury's #1 guy (Agent Coulson) and made the Avengers look like incompetent idiots and the Council was discussing the use of nuclear weapons wasn't enough of an emergency? Feige is full of shit. It's a plothole, plain and simple. Why the fuck do you keep saying the Avengers just stood around for half an hour? I thought you saw the movie. Clearly you haven't because you know they were not standing around and cracking jokes and 1 liners's They were broken and demoralized, that happens sometimes when you get your asses kicked, it's whether you get back up or run and hide that counts. That sort of thing is what makes "Avengers" a superior movie in my view.
