So basically you're saying that Nick Fury and the Avengers don't give a shit if a couple hundred civilians are killed because their lives aren't worth much. Talk about putting your foot in your mouth. If they didn't give a shit then they wouldn't have been there fighting the aliens off They were there fighting because most of them got paid by SHIELD to fight. Steve Rogers, Bruce Banner, Natasha Romanov, and Clint Barton don't have a regular jobs like Clark Kent, Diana Prince, and Barry Allen do and aren't independently wealthy like Bruce Wayne is. Clint Barton has to support a wife and 2 young kids so without a regular job his only income comes from working as a mercenary for Nick Fury and SHIELD.
