2008 wasn't great but it was probably one of the best we had in awhile
2008 gave us really good films like The Strangers. Cloverfield, Dark Knight, Kung Fu Panda, Haunting of Molly Hartley, Hellboy II, Wall E & Iron Man
and 2008 also gave us stinkers like Hancock, Chronicles of Narnia, Indiana Jones, Journey to the Center of the Earth, another Mummy film, The Incredible Hulk, another Rambo film and a remake of prom night.
2008 also introduced us to five years of the horrible twilight saga
so in a way 2008 helped pave the way for the current trend of movies we have now
