Bras in bed so look silly, but I don't blame any actor for not wanting to do nudity. It's up to them. Its not up to the actor. The producers want to be on TV. Or get a PG rating. Censorship rules prohibit nudity. Some actors have no-nudity clauses in their contract. Showtime TV network is OK with nudity, but Claire Danes usually isn't, and all her sex scenes in "Homeland" have her wearing a bra. If the director wants nudity badly enough he'll hire someone other than Danes.
