Censorship rules prohibit nudity.

Some actors have no-nudity clauses in their contract. Showtime TV network is OK with nudity, but Claire Danes usually isn't, and all her sex scenes in "Homeland" have her wearing a bra.

If the director wants nudity badly enough he'll hire someone other than Danes.

I find it highly ironic that a profession that caters to liberal and progressive minded people, would have actors that are so prudish about nudity.
