As I wrote in the other thread, I deem the film "lousy" and unworthy of a view. It is a romantic comedy that proves unfunny and squanders its slightly ironic setup (featuring a plus-sized actress as the protagonist), instead settling for dopiness and a terribly trite conclusion.
Isn't It Romantic is watchable, and it is not offensively bad like Second Act. But from my perspective, the movie is utterly forgettable and flimsy. Of course, some folks are more favorably disposed toward it.
