I sadly don't think a lot of the 'Buffy' board members came over here. That used to be a really active board on the old IMDB site as you would know since you were there too but that and the 'Supernatural' boards here just don't have the members they had on the old site and I think most of them must have gone to social networking sites.
I've recently found this one youtuber, her channel is called After Show Reactions - you should check her out. She's an Aussie, for starters, but she started her channel doing episode reactions to Buffy, as she was watching the episodes for the very first time; and she's just so freaking adorable; and it's really delightful seeing her reactions to certain developments in the show, while at the same time she's proven very observant and perceptive. It's about as close to feeling like you're watching everything for the first time again. When she got to the point Angel spun-off she branched off and started watching those episodes as well; other fans gave her a viewing order to make sure she watched things in the right order. She's subsequently added other shows, like all of the Arrowverse shows and AoS, but I haven't gotten around to watching those reaction videos yet. She hasn't quite finished Buffy, she started sometime in 2017, I believe, and she's just now in season 7 of Buffy; and pretty early on Flash and Arrow. She has a Discord chat room that I've started visiting, that has occasional discussions on some of the shows she's watching. They have different sections too, one for each show where spoilers can be discussed freely and another for each show with no spoilers, you can only talk about details related to the show up to the point she's watched, so as not to spoiler her reactions.
They're pretty welcoming, though not many of them cared for my idea that it should have been
Xander who died instead of Tara; with Xander coming back in season 7 as the First
. As to your other post about Cordelia, it's such abstract question, it's impossible to really say. I mean, would they have even ended up working at Wolfram and Hart if season 4 had been written any different or was that always the plan? I had recently thought it might have been interesting if, in some alternate reality, Wolfram and Hart had recruited Cordelia out of high school and she had become one of their lawyers; so I could conceivably see her in that role, but even more died in the wool than Gunn was. She'd have been more like Lilah. I'm not sure where that might have left Gunn though.
She could have also been in on the entertainment division, which again, edges out Lorn.
I think, for the time it was being made, American TV program was much more static and it would have been virtually unheard of to postpone production or delay airing a season.
I can only hope that any alternative scenario of the series playing out with Charisma staying would have nixed any romantic relationship with Angel and Cordelia, but it seems unlikely they would have built it up as ham fisted as they did in season 3 and go absolutely nowhere with it, unless circumstances force them to, like they did in season 4.
I think Lindsey's beef was that after everything he gave to Wolfram and Hart and barely made it to where he was when he left, Angel of all people is just handed the keys to the whole operation. But I think his animosity was directed less at Angel than at the Senior Partners and whomever else was in on that decision; even if it was more a ploy to try and corrupt Angel and his crew.
Okay. No. It isn’t very frequent on the ‘Buffy’ board here compared to the ‘Buffy’ board on the old IMDB Boards and I have been meaning to post on there again ‘cause there is a thread I’m behind replying to that you made but keep forgetting (sorry). I always do get around to replying to posts on here even though I am behind with some of them sometimes. I remember seeing some more of the 'Buffy' board members here when I first joined and there were also some former members of the 'Haven' and '12 Monkeys' boards but a lot of them appear to be gone now or they rarely post. The thing is a lot of the regular members I remember posting on the TV Show boards didn’t come here. I mean I have seen some of the Olicity fans from the ‘Arrow’ board on some other sites that have boards for ‘Arrow’ but looking at some of the other post IMDB Boards they didn’t go to them either and I think they must have went to social networking sites.
A lot of members on this forum are people who wrote on the movie boards and it is a shame we did not get more TV board members ‘cause the boards for TV shows were so active and even the lesser known shows on the Syfy Channel like ‘Haven’ and ‘Dark Matter’ got a lot of members writing some days and as you would most likely remember the old ‘Arrow’ board had so many members posting on it we were seeing posts nearly every minute or two some days. I think a lot of the old IMDB TV Boards members just don’t know about this board or the other post IMDB Board ‘cause they are not as well-known as the IMDB site was and IMDB had the advantage of being a well-known company that could attract a lot of members. It is a shame we didn't get them 'cause the TV show boards would probably be more active now than any other section and I still talk to one other member I met on the IMDB boards (Brendon) on emails every now and he said some members he still talks to are on Twitter now and they are not joining forums again in case they close down like the IMDB board did.
There are also some post IMDB Boards you need to watch out for that have some of the worst members of the old IMDB board posting on them such as hackers and cyberbullies and while this site might not have as many members as the IMDB Boards did it is much better without those types of people and we have a friendly board here that is minus all the fighting we had on the old 'Arrow' board with the extreme Olicity fans. Thanks for letting me know about the You Tuber and I will look into 'After Show Reactions' and let you know what I think about it. Have you heard about 'Angel' returning? David has said there is something big in the works and a lot of sites I have been reading are saying it could be returning as a movie or a continuation series. I would love to see it return as a limited show like '24: Live Another Day' and have it loosely based on 'After the Fall' and it would give them a chance to set up the new 'Buffy' reboot with the new slayer appearing and give 'Angel' a better ending than the one it got. They could use Angel being turned into a human to explain why David has aged and do the same for Spike and they could also use Ilyra and Fred sharing the same body like in the comic books to bring Fred back too. If it does return I am hoping we get Angel with Spike, Faith, Fred, Gunn and Wesley (as a ghost) and some appearances from Willow, Xander, Dawn, Dru, Giles and Andrew.
