George Lucas always said that the original version doesnt exist anymore. Has Disney ever said anything about that? There’s probably a simple explanation but I don’t get it. The original versions, sourced from a Laserdisc, are available on DVD. It’s not like they are lost. Wich is the version i personally own on dvd. Thats why i never understood why the original version are not supposed to exist anymore.
