Good sport always finds its way. I agree with you totally on this one. Women's football is not as attractive to watch as men's football and so it should not be expected to have the same viewer participation or funding.
Women's cricket though is actually getting better and better in quality and it is not being promoted in the way women's football is being promoted. As a result women's cricket is growing year by year on strength of its quality and skills of its players. As I say if quality of women's football improves then viewership and financing will increase automatically.
