Just so we’re clear, if Zack Snyder’s plans had played out, then it seems that the second Justice League film would’ve more or less served as DC’s Infinity War, in the sense that it would’ve been the prelude to the big finale that would’ve ended on a serious downer of a cliffhanger, with Lois, Wonder Woman and Aquaman dying, and Superman becoming Darkseid’s slave. I still say that would’ve been interesting. Yeah no kidding. I was admittedly open to Snyder staying onboard just for the sake of a cohesive whole, but Jesus H. Christ man. I think they kept Nolan onboard for Man of Steel so he could tone it the fuck down.
