Just finished watching the first 7 episodes and I'm completely hooked again (3rd viewing). The writing is phenomenal. All those stories, relationships, characters are totally believable and every cast member is nailing his/her part. I can't believe that I still have to meet Tommy Carcetti, Cutty who teaches the kids how to box, the blind bartender Butchie, Brother whatsisname, Mayor Royce, Senator Clay Davis, not to mention the dockers and the school kids, etc. etc., etc.
Only 53 more episodes to go although I may skip season 5 which was a season too far.
But then you don't get Slim Charles getting his revenge!
Love how Simon gives Slim Charles the moral killing in The Deuce as well.
