It took the loving fans of Phillie a partial game before they started booing Harper. 2 strike outs, oh for 3 in his first game. Maybe they're just realizing he hit .249 last year. He also had an .889 OPS and swatted 34 homers, while knocking in 100 runs with a lineup that was banged up all year around him. A guy's batting average, by itself, is not the end-all be-all of whether he was good or not.
