I say no. I don't care about the Packers/Bears rivalry. For me this season is about a new challenger trying, again, to topple the Patriots. Imagine opening the year with the Pats vs the Chiefs or Browns at home? Harkening back to an old rivalry just because it's the 100th season (a fact that most fans won't even be aware of) just seems out of touch to me. Every fan will be aware of it being the 100th season. It will be drilled into your brains, just like the NFL supports women's health issues and the military. Do people really give a shit about this? The Patriots will have the first Sunday night game at home. They'll survive. The Ravens had to play on the road to open the season after winning the Super Bowl. That legitimately sucked for them. If the opening night game was Cardinals-Jets, I'd be there with bells on.
