A misheard lyric is called a "mondegreen", by the way, which is what Tiger Woods says on his cell phone. There are plenty of explanations of that on the web. Some of mine: For the longest time I thought Elton was singing "She's got electric boobs". You probably know the song. Funny there is a lot of similar imagery in this thread. anybody recognize these? "I'm not talkin' bout the linen and I don't want to change your life." big hit "I see a bathroom on the right." another big hit "Wrapped up like a douche, another roller in the night." HUGE hit I get annoyed when people present the classic "'scuse me while I kiss this guy" ones as their own. I'm only interested in what people actually misheard on their own. I think I understand what you are implying. Maybe I should point out that I heard these "classic ones" in the same way that everyone else did. Does that annoy you as well?
