I'm thinking Black Legion fits the bill. It's a classic portrayal of the "native" factory worker feeling like he's being passed over for promotion because of immigrants. The Black Legion is basically a thinly disguised KKK although I think it was an actual terrorist group at one point in time. Parts of this film are genuinely creepy, especially when Bogart's character is forced at gun point to sign the oath. I was also thinking of Matewan, especially when the union organizer is trying to bridge the gap between the original coal miners and the Italian and African Americans that move in to take their jobs, but who eventually join forces against the coal company.
