I think there would have been to be honest. Nearly everybody I know who liked the 'Hellboy' is still disappointed they never made a third movie and this remake seems kinda pointless when they could have made a third. I will still see it 'cause I am interested in what the movie will be like but Ron Perlman will always be the best Hellboy in my opinion and the new actor has big shoes to fill.

Indeed!!! I also think that they should've done a third Hellboy film to wrap things up. Years went by and there was nothing. Unfortunately, problems had gotten in the way. However, it's just that it's not right for people to heavily hate upon and bash the reboot and especially the new actor portraying Hellboy all because we didn't get a third film from the original films and because David Harbour isn't Ron Perlman. Especially before the film has even been released yet! I wish that people would be a little open-minded sometimes.

And yes, David Harbour definitely has big shoes to fill. But I think that he'll do just fine.
